Begonias strut their stuff in the shade with large showy flowers in countless colours. Expect continuous bloom all summer.

Fuchsia
 

People are passionate about fuchsia! The unique flower resembles a delicate lady’s earring. Fuchsias look great along edges of beds, in hanging baskets and on their own.

Ipomea
“Chartreuse”

Colourful, vibrant green leaves and showy flowers has made this plant a popular ornamental foliage plant. With heart shaped or lobed leaves, Ipomea or Potato Vine can also be a used as ground cover.

Lobellia
“Blue Star”

Lobelia has long been a favorite plant for containers. “Blue Star” is our choice because it has larger flowers and better heat tolerance than other varieties. Look great planted alone or in combination with other trailing plants.

Bacopa
“Giant Snowflake”

Easy to grow Bacopa features a fluffy of giant snow white flowers. Adds a touch of sparkle to your containers.

For best success growing begonia, avoid overwatering by allowing the top ½” of soil to dry before watering, protect from windy locations, and plant after danger of frost is gone.

The key to success is remembering to feed your containers regularly. I add SmartCote to all my containers in the spring and then fertilize weekly with Plant Prod's 15-30-15. A hose end fertilizer applicator makes it easy.
